Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation seeks a Closing Specialist for the Grandbridge division to perform commercial and multifamily closing duties and support other departments as needed. You will ensure due diligence, review of insurance, borrower structure, and loan documents, with emphasis on accuracy and regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong written and verbal communication, proficiency with MS Office, and the ability to work with lenders, legal teams, and servicing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree and strong academic record.
• Experience with commercial/multifamily closings and due diligence.
• Able to perform closing tasks with training.
• Strong work ethic and self-starter.
• Good decision making and risk analysis.
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.

Responsibilities

• Perform commercial/multifamily closing responsibilities, including due diligence and document review.
• Review property, liability, flood insurance and borrower organization; ensure compliance.
• Prepare commitments, closing calculations, funding submissions and servicing handoffs.
• Maintain AML/KYC compliance throughout closing processes.
• Develop and maintain relationships with business, legal and servicing contacts.
• Assist servicing/asset management with problem assets and borrower requests.
• Promote cohesive, inclusive, team-oriented culture aligned with Grandbridge values.
• Promote sound risk management and regulatory compliance.
