Job summary

CBRE GDS is seeking a Commercial Cleaner in Windsor, CT to perform basic cleaning duties in high-traffic areas, including mopping, sweeping, dusting, and trash disposal. The role requires a high school diploma and at least two years of related experience, with responsibilities extended to restrooms, windows, and storage areas.

The position is temporary (about 150 days), pays starting at $19.20 per hour, with incremental increases over time and potential benefits.

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or equivalent education.
• 2 years of job-related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily cleaning support to high-traffic areas of the building designated by the supervisor.
• Stock bathrooms with toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, and soap.
• Sweep, vacuum, wipe, and mop storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, etc.
• Dust furniture, walls, and equipment including moving and rearranging furniture.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment.
• Attend all regular staff meetings and required in-service training sessions.

Education
