Corporate Cleaning Group is seeking an Area Manager to oversee nightly cleaning operations at multiple Macomb (MI) area buildings. You will supervise crews, perform quality audits, and train staff while reporting to the Territory Manager.

The role requires a reliable leader who can travel between sites and manage payroll-related tasks. Schedule runs Monday-Friday with approximately 25–35 hours per week, starting at $20/hour.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of janitorial lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Valid driver\'s license and reliable personal vehicle

About the Position

We are looking for a reliable, motivated, and hands‑on leader to join our team as an Area Manager.

The Area Manager will oversee cleaning operations at assigned buildings in Macomb and surrounding areas and reports directly to the Territory Manager. This role combines team leadership, quality control, employee support, and hands‑on nightly cleaning.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel between assigned buildings each evening as needed
• Ensure buildings meet company and customer cleaning standards
• Perform quality control auditsand address issues
• Train new employees and support cleaners, leads, and supervisors
• Provide coverage for call-offs and vacations
• Help develop and support supervisors and leads
• Communicate staffing and performance concerns to the Territory Manager or DIrector of Operations
• Monitor cleaning supplies and place orders
• Assist with new account start-ups, including setup and employee training
• Identify ways to improve cleaning quality, efficiency, and employee performance
• Complete nightly reports and other administrative tasks using a mobile app
• Review employee hours for payroll and budget purposes
• Help create job cards and cleaning plans for new accounts
• Promote a positive and professional team environment
• Report policy violations or other concerns to management

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Reliable personal vehicle and current auto insurance
• Willingness to drive between multiple locations
• 1-3 years of janitorial lead or supervisory experience preferred
• Floor care experience is a plus!
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and make decisions in the field
• Comfortable giving direction and holding employees accountable
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Excellent organization and time-management skills
• Reliable and positive attitude
• Ability to work a consistent Monday-Friday evening schedule
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods
