Job summary

Corporate Cleaning Group is seeking an Area Manager to oversee nightly cleaning operations at multiple Macomb (MI) area buildings. You will supervise crews, perform quality audits, and train staff while reporting to the Territory Manager.

The role requires a reliable leader who can travel between sites and manage payroll-related tasks. Schedule runs Monday-Friday with approximately 25–35 hours per week, starting at $20/hour.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of janitorial lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Valid driver\'s license and reliable personal vehicle

Responsibilities

• Travel between buildings each evening to supervise cleaning.
• Perform quality control audits and address issues.
• Train new employees and support cleaners, leads, and supervisors.
• Provide coverage for call-offs and vacations.
• Monitor supplies and place orders.
• Complete nightly reports using a mobile app.
• Review hours for payroll and budget purposes.
• Identify ways to improve cleaning quality and efficiency.
• Help develop and support supervisors and leads.
• Promote a positive, professional team environment.
