CBRE is seeking a Full-Time Commercial Cleaner for GDS in Shippensburg to perform basic cleaning duties such as mopping, sweeping and trash disposal, ensuring cleanliness of assigned areas. The role offers shifts 8:00am–4:40pm, 4:00pm–12:30am, or 12:00am–8:30am (Sun–Thu), with competitive benefits and a pay rate of $18.25–$18.50 per hour.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or equivalent and prior cleaning experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily cleaning support to high-traffic areas as directed.

• Dust furniture, walls, and equipment.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
• Ensure cleaning supplies are stored safely at all times.
• Follow standardized cleaning procedures per company standards.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment.
• Attend regular staff meetings and required trainings.

Job Summary

As a CBRE, GDS Full-Time Commercial Cleaner, you will be responsible for basic cleaning duties. This includes mopping, sweeping and trash disposal. You will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of your assigned areas.

Pay: $18.25 - $18.50

Available Shifts:

• 8:00am - 4:40pm
• 4:00pm - 12:30am
• 12:00am - 8:30am (Sunday to Thursday)

Primary Job Functions

• Provide daily cleaning support to high-traffic areas of the building designated by the supervisor.
• Stock bathrooms with toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, and soap.
• Sweep, vacuum, wipe, and mop storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, etc.
• Dust furniture, walls, and equipment which includes moving and rearranging furniture.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
• Ensure that cleaning supplies are in a safe, secure area at all times.
• Complete standardized cleaning process as per company standards.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment.
• Attend all regular staff meetings and required in-service training sessions.
• Follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.

Required Education and Experience

• High Scholl Diploma or equivalent
• Previous cleaning experience, highly preferred

Working Conditions

• Occasional exposure to elements such as heat, cold, noise, dust, dirt, chemicals, etc.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs, lifting (up to 50 lbs.) and moving furniture.
• Ability to follow basic work routines.
• Ability to communicate.
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
• Ability to efficiently complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes.
