What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage all aspects of 1st and 3rd party injury claims of low to moderate complexity
- Make coverage determinations and conduct investigative work related to claims
- Develop negotiation strategies to resolve claims effectively with insureds and claimants
- Assist in taking first notice of loss (FNOL) calls as needed
- Actively participate in shaping company culture through involvement in employee resource groups
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 2 years of Casualty claims experience or 1+ year of Commercial claims experience
- High School Diploma or GED, or a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Casualty claims role within the P&C insurance industry
- Required to acquire and/or maintain multiple Adjuster’s Licenses within the first 90 days of employment
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and strong computer navigation abilities
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 3+ years of Casualty claims handling experience
- Prior experience with Commercial policies
- BA/BS in business, insurance, or a related field
- Flexibility to work any shift during operating hours, including evenings and weekends
- Capability to perform the job effectively in a remote setting
