The candidate will engage in networking, prepare proposals for underwriting, and ensure loan documentation accuracy while adhering to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field and minimum of three years banking or financial services experience.
• Experience working directly with customers at all levels, from support staff to business owners and managers.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, as demonstrated by previous experience interacting with decision makers and influencers.
• Ability to prepare/coordinate proposals, review proposals for accuracy and work productively through the underwriting process.
• Experience working independently and ability to stay organized and multi-task.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business, underwriting, structuring and closing of commercial loans.
• Maintain and service an existing portfolio and market bank products and services.
• Respond to client inquiries within 24 hours and provide ongoing relationship servicing.
• Conduct networking activities to generate new business through community events and centers of influence.
• Prepare loan memos and documents for loan approval and oversee closing and funding.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and policies.
