Job summary

Nicolet National Bank is seeking a Commercial Banking Assistant to provide essential administrative support to our commercial lenders during pre-closing and post-closing activities. You will help ensure loan files are complete, accurate, and compliant while delivering excellent customer service.

The role involves document collection, verification of collateral via UCC and county records, and coordination with cross-functional teams to keep information transparent and current.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of administrative experience required.
• Experience in a bank environment, preferably Commercial or Credit, is preferred.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical administrative support to Commercial bankers during pre-closing and post-closing phases of lending.
• Review loan documents for accuracy and compliance with internal policies.
• Assist customers with inquiries and gather required financial statements or operating plans.
• Review UCC searches and county records to verify collateral or lien positions.
• Conduct post-closing audits to ensure signatures and dates are properly executed.
• Serve as a point of contact for borrowers for inquiries and documentation updates.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align data and documentation processes.
• May act as notary public for the bank.
• Uphold bank policies and regulatory compliance in all duties.
