Nicolet National Bank is seeking a Commercial Banking Assistant to provide essential administrative support to Commercial bankers during pre-closing and post-closing stages of lending. You will help ensure files are accurate, compliant, and deliver a high-quality client experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Associate Degree preferred.
• 2+ years of administrative experience required.
• Experience in bank environment preferred.
• PC, phone system, general office equipment.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Strong critical thinking skills.
• Strong judgment and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical administrative support to Commercial bankers during pre-closing and post-closing phases of lending.
• Review loan documents for accuracy and policy compliance.
• Assist customers with inquiries and gathering of financial statements or operating plans.
• Review UCC searches and county real estate records to verify collateral positions.
• Conduct post-closing audits on signed loan packages.
• Serve as a point of contact for borrowers for account balance inquiries and updates.
• Identify gaps and opportunities to improve processes and provide feedback to team lead.
• Partner with cross-functional lines of business to align data and documentation.
• May act as notary public for the bank.
• Uphold compliance with applicable laws and bank policies.
