Guitar Center Company is seeking a Service Technician to support the Service Department. You will be the face of the company with clients, ensuring AV systems operate at peak performance, completing service calls and handling escalated client needs.

You will perform installation, maintenance, and documentation tasks, with travel as needed, and participate in ongoing training to stay current with advanced AV solutions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in the Commercial AV industry.
• Experience with control systems (AMX, Crestron, Biamp, Q-Sys, Extron, Dante) is highly desirable.
• Advanced computer skills on PC/Mac; proficient with Windows/Mac OS apps.
• Familiarity with Apple iOS products for interfacing with networks.
• Solid understanding of pre-wire, trim, and final phases; safety on job sites.

Responsabilités

• Servicing and troubleshooting commercial automation systems including conference room video, audio, lighting, and shades.
• Provide training to clients on AV system usage.
• Engage in preventative maintenance visits to maintain client systems.
• Perform equipment delivery and related responsibilities.
• Carry out service tasks: cable pulling, connectors, projector mounts, TV install/uninstall.
• Install control programs (AMX/Crestron/Extron/Dante) and troubleshoot.
• Interface with clients to determine issues and communicate resolutions.
• Provide detailed reporting at end of each service call.
