Job summary

Plymouth Rock Assurance in Boston seeks an Associate Product Manager for Commercial Auto to shape, scale, and grow the product and profitability. You will analyze performance, manage defined projects, and support underwriting initiatives across Personal Auto, Motorcycle, and Umbrella.

You will collaborate with Underwriting, Actuarial, Product Management, Marketing, Claims, Legal and IT to deliver data‑driven solutions, assess pricing and coverage options, and translate findings into practical

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in P&C insurance product management, underwriting, or analytical role.
• Experience with Small Commercial product suite (BOP, GL, CPP) is beneficial.
• Knowledge of insurance pricing, rate/form filing, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills; able to translate findings into recommendations.
• Ability to lead assigned issues and coordinate with partners; strong communication.
• SQL and Python experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manage defined Commercial Auto product projects, including analysis, recommendations, implementation coordination, and performance monitoring.
• Support underwriting strategies that balance risk, customer experience, and growth objectives.
• Collaborate with Underwriting, Actuarial, Product Management, Marketing, Claims, Legal and IT to execute initiatives.
• Analyze pricing, coverage options, and regulatory requirements to improve profitability.
• Monitor product performance metrics, identify trends, and propose corrective actions.
• Coordinate implementation activities and post-implementation monitoring for underwriting tools.
