Plymouth Rock is seeking a Product Manager for Commercial Auto, underwriting strategy and analytics in Boston. You will shape product initiatives, refine underwriting capabilities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive profitable growth across Personal Auto, Motorcycle, and Umbrella products.

The role emphasizes data-driven problem solving, pricing and regulatory awareness, with close partnership across Underwriting Operations, Product Management, Actuarial and IT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, Finance, or other quantitative field.
• Advanced degree or insurance designation (e.g. CPCU) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage Commercial Auto product initiatives across the lifecycle from analysis through implementation and monitoring.
• Develop and refine underwriting initiatives to optimize performance and growth for Personal Auto, Motorcycle, and Umbrella products.
• Collaborate with Underwriting, Actuarial, Product Management, Marketing, Claims, Legal and IT to drive profitably growth.
• Lead market research, pricing strategies, and coverage options aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Refine underwriting rules and predictive models to improve risk selection and profitability.
• Coordinate regulatory filings and ensure compliance with applicable requirements.
