Job summary

Plymouth Rock Assurance Corporation in Boston, MA is seeking an Associate Commercial Auto Product Manager within Underwriting Strategy & Analytics to shape and grow our Commercial Auto product. You will analyze performance, manage projects, and support underwriting initiatives across Personal Auto, Motorcycle, and Umbrella lines.

You will partner with underwriting, actuarial, product, marketing, claims, legal and IT to deliver data-driven insights, refine pricing, and enhance product offerings

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or insurance designation a plus.
• 4+ years of experience in P&C insurance product management, underwriting, or related analytics.
• Experience with Small Commercial product suites (BOP, GL, CPP) is beneficial.
• Knowledge of pricing, rate/form filings, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to analyze data and translate findings into practical recommendations.
• Strong ownership, judgment, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• SQL and Python experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manage defined Commercial Auto product projects from analysis to implementation and monitoring.
• Support underwriting strategies balancing risk, customer experience, and growth.
• Identify opportunities to modernize underwriting and improve profitable growth.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify gaps.
• Analyze pricing, coverage options, and regulatory requirements for product enhancements.
• Collaborate with Underwriting, Actuarial and IT on data-driven risk decisions.
• Monitor performance metrics and address opportunities with recommendations.
• Coordinate implementation activities for underwriting technology tools and automation.
