Job summary

Plymouth Rock Company is seeking an Associate Product Manager for Commercial Auto, underwriting strategy, and analytics. You will analyze product performance, develop recommendations, and lead defined projects that drive profitable growth across Commercial Auto and related Personal Auto products.

You will collaborate with Underwriting, Actuarial, Product Management, Marketing, Claims, Legal and IT to execute data-driven initiatives, evaluate pricing and coverage options, and support compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, Finance, or other quantitative field; advanced degree or CPCU is a plus.
• 4+ years of experience in P&C insurance product management, underwriting, or related analytical role.

Responsibilities

• Manage defined Commercial Auto product projects, including analysis, recommendations, implementation coordination, and performance monitoring.
• Support underwriting strategies that balance risk management, customer experience, and growth objectives.
• Collaborate with Underwriting Operations and Product Management to modernize underwriting approaches.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and gaps.
• Analyze pricing, coverage options, and regulatory requirements to improve profitability.
• Evaluate underwriting rules across Commercial & Personal Auto and measure impact on profitability and experience.
