Job summary

FanDuel seeks a Commercial Analyst to deliver insights on online Racing market dynamics, competitive trends, and business performance. The role collaborates with Marketing, Product, Growth, Finance, and Analytics to translate data into strategic perspectives that keep FanDuel ahead in a competitive landscape.

You will build recurring leadership reports, support forecasting and budgeting, and help size competitive positions while developing scalable self-service tools for broader access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a numerate field.
• Minimum 1 year of professional analytics experience.
• Experience working with external data sources and synthesizing inputs.
• Ability to build structured analyses, models, or frameworks.
• Experience building presentations for senior stakeholders.
• Strong toolset: SQL, Excel, AI; familiarity with Python and Databricks; Tableau is a plus.
• Interest in sports, gaming, or digital consumer businesses is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve recurring performance reporting for leadership; automate production so time goes to analysis.
• Analyze marketing and promo efficiency—cohort targeting, spend allocation, and campaign performance.
• Support commercial forecasting and budgeting; translate analytics into forecast assumptions and explain plan-to-actual variance.
• Partner with Product to assess pre- and post-launch impact of changes on customer KPIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to connect external market insights with internal performance.
• Help build scalable self-service tools and dashboards (Tableau, Databricks) and contribute to AI-assisted workflows.
