Pomp's Tire Service, Inc. in Gillette, WY is seeking an Alignment Technician to join our hands-on team. You will analyze wheels and tires, perform tire changes, rotations, and alignments per manufacturer specifications using the right tools.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct wheel alignments on vehicles per manufacturer specs.
• Change and rotate tires as needed.
• Inspect tires and vehicles for potential issues.
• Perform oil changes, brake/shock replacements and related services.
• Assist with suspension, brake, and steering work as required.
• Maintain organized work area and proper equipment care.
• Take on additional tasks as assigned by manager.

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct wheel alignments on vehicles to ensure optimal performance
• Diagnose and address customer tire needs
• Inspect tires and vehicles for potential issues or additional repairs
• Perform tire rotations, balancing, and repairs as needed
• Perform oil changes, brake and shock replacements, and various other mechanical services
• Work with suspension, brake, and steering systems to ensure safety and reliability
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper care of equipment
• Additional tasks as assigned by manager

What You Need:

• General mechanical and suspension knowledge
• Ability to understand Alignment Theory
• Ability to use basic hand tools, tire tools, alignment machines, air wrench and other essential tools
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers
• Ability to read and verify work order information
• Ability to lift, carry, or move 50 pounds regularly
