Job summary

Pomp's Tire Service in Gillette, WY is seeking an Alignment Technician to join our team and keep vehicles rolling safely. This role analyzes wheels and tires, conducts tire changes and rotations, and aligns wheels to manufacturer specifications using the proper equipment.

Qualifications

• General mechanical and suspension knowledge.
• Ability to understand Alignment Theory.
• Ability to use basic hand tools, tire tools, alignment machines, air wrench and other essential tools.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers.
• Ability to read and verify work order information.
• Ability to lift, carry, or move 50 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct wheel alignments on vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and address customer tire needs.
• Inspect tires and vehicles for potential issues or additional repairs.
• Perform tire rotations, balancing, and repairs as needed.
• Perform oil changes, brake and shock replacements, and various other mechanical services.
• Work with suspension, brake, and steering systems to ensure safety and reliability.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper care of equipment.
• Additional tasks as assigned by manager.
