Commercial Account Executive - Senior Care

Overview

Shomer Insurance Services, an Alera Group Company, is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Executive to join their Property & Casualty team. A background within the Senior Care or Real Estate industry is highly preferred. This position can be performed remotely. Responsibilities
  • Identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions to complex problems, conclusions, or approaches to problems and determine the most appropriate options to meet a prospect’s needs.
  • Identify centers of influence that can assist with developing leads or making inroads to potential clients.
  • Develop relationships and perform analysis with prospective clients to understand their organization, key decision makers, and business needs.
  • Meet sales goals and retain relationships with key stakeholders after prospects become clients, with an eye toward cross-sell and round-out opportunities.
  • Understand principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services, including marketing strategies, product demonstrations, and sales techniques.
  • Assist customers in selecting products based on their needs, product specifications, and applicable regulations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of experience working in Commercial Lines; Senior Care or Real Estate experience is preferred.
  • CA Property & Casualty Insurance License.
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for presenting, promoting, and selling products or services.
  • Knowledge of general business principles, strategic planning, resource allocation, profit/loss requirements, organizational structures, and operational needs.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel to networking, prospect, and client locations.
Benefits

Salary range: $139K - $160K DOE (depends on experience). Alera Group offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, life and disability insurance, 401k, generous paid time off, and more.
