Condé Nast’s Allure is seeking a Commerce Writer to lead shopping content across beauty and related categories. The role emphasizes editorial storytelling that drives purchases, SEO optimization, and engaging newsletters while leveraging video and social formats.

The ideal candidate will analyze performance data, plan seasonal tentpoles, and work with editorial teams to deliver on-brand, modern content that resonates with readers and converts readers into shoppers.

Qualifications

• At least two years writing or editing commerce/affiliate content, including front-of-camera and video editing.
• Solid knowledge of SEO tactics to attract a buying audience.
• Experience building and executing newsletters.

Responsibilities

• Write, pitch and optimize up to 12 commerce stories per week with Allure editorial teams.
• Manage a long-term commerce editorial calendar for ongoing and seasonal content.
• Identify editorial categories and tentpoles presenting commerce opportunities based on data and trends.
• Support optimization of shoppable content, including tentpoles and packages.
• Coordinate with Commerce and Audience Development teams to share data and best practices.
• Serve as on-camera talent when required and present product reviews across formats.
• Capture, produce and edit high-quality, social-first video content.
