Condé Nast’s Allure is seeking a Senior Commerce Editor to execute a clear content strategy aligned with brand goals. You will edit high-volume commerce content, guide freelancers, and craft data-driven editorial clusters focused on beauty and shoppable experiences in NYC.

The role requires 4+ years in editing commerce content, beauty writing background, and strong organizational skills. Expect collaboration with editors, a dynamic calendar, and revenue-driven storytelling.

Qualifications

• 4+ years editing commerce content at a digital property.
• Prior beauty writing experience.
• Experience managing freelancers.
• Strong editorial judgment and data-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage a roster of freelancers, including pay scales and deadlines.
• Maintain and optimize testing methodologies and UGC processes.
• Drive editorial POV for product and shopping recommendations.
• Partner with commerce on shoppable newsletters.
• Apply SEO and GEO best practices to posts and calendar.
• Identify commerce opportunities from data and trends.
• Collaborate with editors to develop commerce opportunities across categories.
• Coordinate with Commerce and Audience Development to share data and best practices.
