People Inc. is seeking a News and Deals Writer, Commerce, to cover timely food-related shopping content and deal roundups. You will craft two or more stories per day, using affiliate links to drive purchases and align with our Food & Wine and Allrecipes brands.

You’ll pitch, write from an editorial perspective, and collaborate with editors while keeping pace with weekly tentpole events. This remote US role offers 40 hours weekly and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Experienced with commerce content and affiliate linking.
• Knowledgeable about shopping, cooking, and the voices of People Inc. food brands.
• Familiar with SEO and affiliate linking best practices.
• Ready to take on new challenges and opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Write at least two shopping stories per day with timely decisions.
• Craft pitches related to timely topics, food news, sale events, and more.
• Build partnerships and collaborate with writers/editors to meet objectives.
• Reach out to experts for background information and quotes as needed.
• Attend weekly team meetings and participate in tentpole events.
