Position: CommEd Childcare Program Substitute
Programs: Substitute Teacher\'s Assistant (length of day varies). Programs run from 6:45am–6:00pm.
Supervise children to ensure safety and appropriate behavior and manage transitions smoothly. In addition to supervision and interaction with the children, there are a variety of demands placed on the program team. The entire team collaborates to assure all needs of the program are being met; including but not limited to cleaning tables/chairs, returning toys to shelves, prep work, diapering, supervising recess, snack and lunch, bathroom runs, etc. As a substitute you would become part of that collaboration and be assigned specific responsibilities based on the classroom or site you are assigned. There is a potential of floating between several classrooms in one day. Uses positive behavior management techniques at all times.

Salary: $17 to $17 Per Hour
