Job summary

Hart Ranch Camping Resort is seeking a Comfort Station Housekeeper for the 2027 summer season. You will maintain clean restrooms and public areas, restock supplies, and assist with housekeeping tasks to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for members and guests.

Responsibilities include cleaning, trash disposal, and reporting maintenance needs, with cross-training across housekeeping duties as required. Shift availability includes weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Motivated self-starter with reliability.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
• Availability May 1–Sept 30: 28 hours/week.
• Availability Oct 1–Apr 30: 25 hours/week (off-season).
• Willing to work all shifts, weekends, and events.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and stock comfort stations, restrooms, laundry facilities, and public areas.
• Restock supplies and remove trash; report maintenance needs.
• Cross-train for all housekeeping areas as needed.
• Meet or exceed Member service expectations.
• Follow Employee Handbook and Safety Manual.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Classification: Non-Exempt, Seasonal or Year-Round, Full-time or Part-time, Workamper

Job Summary: The Comfort Station Housekeeper maintains clean, sanitary, and well-stocked comfort stations, restrooms, laundry facilities, and public areas throughout the resort. This role performs routine cleaning, restocks supplies, removes trash, reports maintenance needs, and helps ensure a safe, welcoming environment for members and guests while supporting other housekeeping functions as needed.

Overall Responsibilities of the Comfort Station Housekeeper:

• Assures that the comfort stations are tidy, sanitary, and have all of the necessary supplies.
• While primary responsibility will be to focus on cleaning Comfort Stations, must be willing to cross train for all areas of housekeeping as needed.
• Meets or exceeds Member service expectations.
• Must be self-motivated, but also able to work well with other team members as needed.
• Adheres to Hart Ranch Camping Resort Employee Handbook and Employee Safety Manual.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

The Comfort Station Housekeeper Will:

• C lean toilets, showers, sinks, mirrors, and floors according to checklist and time specifications.
• Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas.
• Transport janitorial supplies and cleaning supplies. .
• Sweep, scrub, wax, and/or polish floors, using brooms, mops, and/or powered scrubbing and waxing machines.
• Dust and polish shelving, ledges, and equipment.
• Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
• Polish silver accessories and metalwork such as fixtures and fittings.
• Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork as necessary.
• Notify supervisor concerning the need for repairs or additions to comfort station operating systems.
• Observe precautions required to protect Hart Ranch Members property, and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors.
• Remove debris from driveways and all public areas inside or out.
• Clean attached laundry facilities and wipe down machines.
• Replenish supplies such as soap, paper products, and bathroom items.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license
• Must be a motivated self-starter
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
• Must be able to stand, walk, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl as part of daily duties
• Minimum availability May 1 - September 30 of 28 hours per week
• Minimum availability October of 25 hours per week (October 1 – April 30) *if working during the off season
• Must be able to work all shifts, including weekends, the day after holidays, and special events as needed
