Hart Ranch Camping Resort in Rapid City, SD, is seeking a Flowers Attendant to maintain the landscaped areas, ensuring beauty, cleanliness, and a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests. You will plant, water, remove debris, prune shrubs, and perform seasonal groundskeeping tasks to keep paths and beds looking their best.

The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, and able to work weekends, holidays, and events.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Water flowers and ensure shrubs and hedges are trimmed.
• Pick up trash and debris from common areas and beds.
• Keep HRCR grounds presentable and uphold curb appeal standards.
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor and assist as needed.
• Assist with planting and bed arrangement as weather allows.

Job Summary: The Flowers Attendant is responsible for maintaining the beauty, cleanliness, and overall appearance of Hart Ranch Camping Resort's landscaped areas. This position performs planting, watering, debris removal, bush pruning and seasonal groundskeeping activities to ensure a safe, attractive, and welcoming environment for members and guests. Successful candidates are dependable, self-motivated, and take pride in enhancing the resort's curb appeal and outdoor spaces.

Overall Responsibilities of the Landscaping Attendant

• The Flowers Attendant will ensure that the landscape grounds areas are kept looking well-tended and attractive to help make the resort the kind of place Members and guests can't wait to return to.
• Meets or exceeds Member service expectations.
• Works well with other team members.
• Adheres to Hart Ranch Camping Resort (HRCR) Employee Handbook and Employee Safety Manual.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

The Attendant Will

• Ensure Flowers are watered appropriately
• Ensure shrubs and hedges are trimmed
• Pick up trash/debris from common areas, streets, and flower beds on an as needed basis.
• Ensure HRCR grounds are presentable at all times and adhere to HRCR curb appeal standards.
• Report all maintenance issues and concerns identified while performing daily duties to Supervisor.
• Arrange flower beds by planting flowers and watering as weather allows.?
• Recommend improvements to landscaping and implement as approved.?
• Water all areas not accessible to the automatic sprinkler system.?

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 years of age
• Must be a motivated self-starter
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays & special events as needed
• Hold a valid state driver's license and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
