Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to help industrialize Gas Power systems and maximize value across the product lifecycle. You will lead cross-functional teams with engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, and product management to deliver NPI and cost-out initiatives.

This role emphasizes manufacturability, supplier collaboration, and data-driven improvements, with a focus on reducing cost, improving quality, and enabling safe, reliable operation of gas turbine

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or STEM disciplines; alternative: significant engineering-type experience with HS diploma and 7+ years experience.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and ability to drive projects to completion under deadlines.
  • Technical knowledge of gas turbine components and GD&T.
  • Six Sigma or equivalent quality training.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver the next generation of Gas Power Systems and services products across the full lifecycle.
  • Own component producibility from conceptual design through stable production.
  • Drive NPI process development and qualification with external suppliers and internal factories.

Job Description Summary Addressing the urgent need to build a more sustainable electric power system while improving the trajectory of climate change emissions are global priorities, and we take our responsibility seriously. In this role, you will be a key member of the Gas Power Supply Chain Industrialization Team. This team is responsible for industrializing new products and processes into the supply chain. This includes changes driven by NPI, product cost out (PCO), strategic alignment and optimization of the router in line with the overall commodity strategy.

Roles and Responsibilities

As a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, you will develop and deliver the next generation of Gas Power Systems and Power Services Products and maximize the value of each product across the full product lifecycle.

  • Serve as an Expert Advanced Manufacturing Engineer with focus on Combustion components in a highly cross-functional environment with engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, product management and suppliers to optimize manufacturability and component cost
  • Serve as a technical process expert for complex problems across a diverse supply chain partnering with stakeholders to solve business critical issues
  • Own component producibility from conceptual design through stable production
  • Manufacturing technical expert for NPI process development and qualification across the full router of the part at both external suppliers and internal factories
  • NPI fulfillment - on time delivery with quality
  • Drive the part cost considering design, sourcing, and manufacturing
  • Awareness of new technology and advanced manufacturing techniques that relate to your components
  • Responsible for management of component investment and expense
  • Understand and communicate design change risks and impacts prior to implementation
  • Perform related duties as necessary
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or STEM disciplines // Alternative: Candidates with a High School Diploma are eligible if they have significant prior experience in an engineering-type role within GE Vernova 7+ years of engineering or manufacturing experience.

  • Strong project management skills and detail-oriented
  • Master’s Degree in engineering or related technical discipline from an accredited college or university

Relocation Assistance Provided: Yes

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $104,600.00 and $174,400.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
