The Manufacturing Engineering Specialist supports manufacturing operations through the execution of engineering and process improvement activities. This role is responsible for planning and implementing manufacturing initiatives, troubleshooting production issues, and supporting operational excellence. Working within established procedures, the position exercises sound judgment and collaborates cross-functionally to drive results.
Execute manufacturing engineering activities that support production operations and process efficiency. Perform tactical manufacturing engineering responsibilities that do not require a four-year engineering degree and are not administrative in nature. Develop and apply in-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, systems, and technical disciplines. Utilize prior experience and technical expertise to support operational strategies and business objectives. Analyze manufacturing processes and recommend improvements to enhance quality, productivity, safety, and performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturing goals are achieved and operational requirements are met. Apply sound judgment to solve routine and moderately complex manufacturing challenges within established parameters and with appropriate guidance. Leverage technical skills, analytical thinking, and multiple internal resources to evaluate issues and determine effective solutions. Understand key business drivers and how team objectives contribute to overall organizational success. Provide informal coaching and guidance to new team members and support talent development initiatives. Participate in continuous improvement activities and support implementation of manufacturing best practices.
Ability to work 2nd Shift (2:45pm-10:45pm) Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college; OR High school diploma/GED with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in manufacturing

The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
