Zachry Group is seeking a Combo Welder to weld, fabricate and assist pipe fitters, electricians, millwrights and ironworks in installing equipment and supports for industrial systems.

You will read blueprints, set up welding operations, and work with various materials. This role requires 4+ years of industrial welding experience and the ability to pass a weld test. Reliability, physical stamina, and PPE adherence are essential.

Competenze

• Must read blueprints and engineering drawings to perform efficiently.
• Must read and interpret technical manuals as applicable.
• Must have 4+ years of welding experience on industrial size equipment.
• Knowledge of metals and welding processes, and effects on material.
• Must successfully pass a weld test.
• Experience welding carbon steel, Fluxcore, stainless, aluminum and chrome.
• Must assist with other activities when not actively welding.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must meet all physical demands and work at heights.

Mansioni

• Selects equipment and plans layouts, assembly, and welding using geometry and metal properties.
• Layout, position, align, cut, assemble, and fit metal components in various positions.
• Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts to secure for welding.
• Set up equipment and weld parts using arc, gas-shielded arc, submerged arc, or gas arc methods.
• Weld metal materials to piping systems using appropriate procedures for materials involved.
• Identify all equipment for job and process.
• Identify all safety risks and requirements.
