GrayWolf is seeking a Combo Pipe Welder for our IVA, SC site. Work includes laying out, positioning, and welding piping systems and structural components per blueprints and welding procedures.

You will read prints, secure piping, and weld in all positions, with a 12-hour shift possible in varying conditions. The role requires at least 3 years of pipe welding in industrial construction, ability to pass GTAW/SMAW tests, and reading plans.

Qualificações

• At least 3 years of pipe combo welding in an industrial construction setting.
• Must pass weld test in GTAW/SMAW carbon steel in 6G positions; other tests may be required.
• Able to read and interpret prints and plans.
• OSHA 10 preferred; AWS certification preferred.
• Assignment is 100% x-ray inspection of welds.

Responsabilidades

• Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to welding.
• Weld metal components such as piping systems, plates, pipes and tubes per specs.
• Secure pipes to structures with brackets, clamps, or hangers.
• Work in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions.
