Job summary

GrayWolf Integrated Construction Company in Catawba, SC is seeking a Combo Pipe Welder for our heavy industrial project site. The role involves laying out, positioning, and welding pipe systems and related components in all positions, following blueprints and welding procedures.

You will plan installations to avoid obstructions and ensure secure mounts. Essential duties include passing a GTAW/SMAW test, welding stainless or carbon pipe, reading prints, using hand tools, and maintaining safety.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of pipe combo welding in industrial construction.
• Must read and interpret prints and plans.
• Must pass weld test in GTAW/SMAW carbon steel super coupon (6G positions).
• Experience welding stainless or carbon pipe and use of hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to welding.
• Weld piping systems, plates, pipes, and tubes per blueprints and procedures.
• Plan installations to avoid obstructions and ensure safe operation.
• Weld in any position: flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead.
