Job summary

GrayWolf is seeking Combo Pipe Welders at our IVA, SC job site. You will lay out, position, align, and weld components for piping systems and structures in a heavy industrial setting, following prints and welding procedures.

Requirements include at least 3 years of pipe welding in industrial construction, ability to read prints, and readiness to pass weld tests. OSHA 10 or AWS certification are preferred; pre-hire requirements must be completed. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of pipe combo welding in industrial construction.
• OSHA 10 preferred; AWS certification preferred.
• Locking toolbox and tools required.
• Must complete all pre-hire requirements.
• This assignment is 100% x-ray inspection of welds.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, position, align, and secure parts before welding.
• Weld piping systems, plates, pipes, tubes, and structural shapes as specified.
• Read prints and plans to guide installation or repair.
• Work in GTAW/SMAW as required; maintain safety.
