Job summary

Sun Chemical Corporation in Cincinnati, OH, seeks a Production Operator for Centron to perform batch preparation, weigh ingredients, run equipment, and ensure quality checks.

You will follow SOPs, assist with SAP and forklift operations, and participate in safety initiatives while supporting manufacturing goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of MS Office.
• Repeatedly lifting 55 lbs.
• Stand for long periods of time.
• Experience with forklift.

Responsibilities

• Review batch tickets – Read, understand and follow.
• Gather and weigh ingredients (scale operation); combine ingredients in designated sequence.
• Provide samples to lab; preliminary quality checks.
• Ingredient traceability.
• Report near miss incidents and improvement.
• Equipment cleaning; plant cleaning and waste disposal.
• Tub washer.
• Participate actively in all plant safety initiatives, programs and training.
• Follow all standard operating procedures with respect to performance of position.
• Stays updated on all applicable.
