Job summary

Sun Chemical in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking a Production Operator - Centron to join our manufacturing team. You will read batch tickets, weigh ingredients, and prepare samples for lab testing, ensuring quality at each step.

You will also pack products, manage inventory in SAP, and help maintain safety and housekeeping standards. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, basic MS Office skills, forklift experience, and the stamina to stand for long shifts.

• Review batch tickets – Read, understand and follow
• Gather and weigh ingredients (scale operation); combine ingredients in designated sequence

• Pack product into designated containers
• Ingredient traceability
• Report near miss incidents and improvement
• Equipment cleaning; plant cleaning and waste disposal
• Forklift operation; labeling containers
• Tub washer
• Stock rotation (minimizing partial containers)
• SAP inventory look-up; SAP CORK duties; SAP Cycle count duties
• Participate actively in all plant safety initiatives, programs and training
• Follow all standard operating procedures with respect to performance of position
• Stays updated on all applicable
