Job summary

Reliability & Performance Technologies (R&P) in the United States seeks a Combat Systems/SPY-6/EASR test engineer to support the PMS 377 LPD program in a fast-paced environment. You will conduct radar testing, verify light-off activities, and ensure system readiness through testing and documentation.

The role requires hands-on lab and shipboard testing, familiarity with SPY-6 interfaces, and a Secret clearance. Prior ACAT LPD experience and Navy training are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience with SPY-6/EASR and LPD program testing preferred.
• Hands-on radar test, light-off, and integration activities.
• Ability to review technical deliverables and write test reports.
• Shipboard testing and readiness verification experience is a plus.
• Requires familiarity with cyber/information assurance concepts relevant to radar systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site combat systems engineering and technical support for SPY-6 interfacing.
• Assess radar installation and integration progress on ships.
• Conduct radar light-off activities including power, connectivity, operability, reliability, and safety checks.
• Perform radar testing in support of Government Test Team and troubleshoot failures.
• Validate systems to return equipment to full operational capability.
• Support ship checks, trials, and combat system certification activities.
• Track deficiencies and document through trial cards and CDRs.
