Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Mount Laurel Township, NJ, is seeking radar integration engineers for the SPY-6 radar–combat system integration. You will help develop requirements, support system engineering, and coordinate between radar and combat-system software during early program phases and tests.

The role emphasizes testing, data analysis, defect resolution, and collaboration with stakeholders, with travel as needed and eligibility to obtain SECRET DoD clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, systems engineering or computer engineering with equivalent minimum of 2 years' professional experience.
• Experience performing systems engineering for capability development to support element integration.
• Basic understanding of electromagnetic and wireless transmission/communication principles.
• Proficiency with MATLAB and Python for data analysis.
• Ability to obtain & maintain a DoD security clearance at the SECRET level (U.S. Citizenship required).
• Availability to travel domestically and/or internationally as required by the supported program.
• Flexibility to work non-standard work shifts as required by the supported program.

Responsibilities

• Support radar integration and test, evaluate test results, investigate issues, provide technical assessment of defects, and drive issues to resolution.
• Support capability planning, design/development, and review meetings with internal leadership and external stakeholders
• Develop, review, and support implementation of necessary updates in the radar/combat system interface
• Provide systems engineering and software development guidance for radar related combat system capabilities
• Develop and review requirements for radar system capabilities and integration
