Job summary

Installed Building Products is seeking a dynamic Workers' Compensation Specialist for a hybrid role based in Columbus, Ohio. You will manage claims with insurers, coordinate across branches, and maintain records while supporting OSHA activities and incident investigations.

The role requires 1–3 years in workers' compensation, knowledge of state regulations, and strong organization and communication skills; proficiency with MS Office is expected. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in workers' compensation.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Workers’ Compensation laws and regulations; multi-state experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Administer claims by working with insurance claims management, injured workers, medical facilities, and locations.
• Serve as point of contact for branch locations on workers’ compensation claims.
• Maintain workers’ compensation database and claim files.
• Assist with OSHA recordkeeping and accident investigations.
• Participate in claim review meetings with broker and carrier.
• Overnight travel for occasional meetings (optional).
• Other duties as assigned.
