Job summary

Michael Page is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support the successful delivery of high-profile residential construction projects throughout the Columbus market. You will assist in daily operations, coordinate subcontractors, monitor schedules, and help maintain quality and safety on site, while engaging with project teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction experience.
• Experience supporting field operations on ground-up projects.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of construction means, methods, scheduling, and site coordination.
• OSHA certification or strong understanding of jobsite safety practices.
• Multifamily construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent with daily jobsite operations and project execution.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and material deliveries.
• Monitor construction schedules and help ensure milestones are achieved on time.
• Conduct daily site walks to verify quality, safety, and production standards.
• Support project documentation, reporting, and progress tracking.
• Help manage punch list completion and project closeout activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe construction site.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, inspectors, and ownership groups.
• Proactively identify and resolve field issues before they impact schedule or quality.
• Enforce company safety standards and ensure compliance across all trades.
