Job summary

Scoot Education in Columbia, SC is seeking substitute teachers to support classrooms across partner schools. You will supervise students, follow lesson plans, and help foster an inclusive learning environment that encourages engagement throughout the day.

Ideal candidates have a teaching credential or 30‑Day Substitute Permit, a background in education, and are comfortable with bilingual settings. This role is non‑exempt and paid hourly, with benefits and ongoing professional development offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, associate's degree, or college credits.
• Three professional references, including at least one from a previous supervisor.
• State & federal background checks.

• Leave brief notes or feedback for the returning teacher.

Daily Pay Range:

Pay will vary for day-to-day assignments and is typically more for long‑term placements. Pay varies by certification, school, and assignment.
