Get support from your dedicated Scoot Consultant who matches you to school assignments to align with your skills, experiences, and interests. Access 1:1 check-ins to discuss school feedback, general questions, training opportunities, and career planning.

Many of our consultants have previous teaching experience and will share best practices and offer practical advice. They are just a phone call away for any questions or concerns.

Perks & Compensation:

• Earn up to $176 for day-to-day assignments and more for long-term. While pay varies based on certification, school, and the assignment, we strive to pay some of the highest rates among substitute providers.
• Paid training hours and professional development opportunities (variable by state)

What We’re Looking For:

• Passion for education and putting students first
• An empathetic nature, a growth mindset, and a drive to be the best you can be
• College credits, Associate’s Degree or a Bachelors Degree
• Three professional references, including at least one from a previous supervisor
• State & federal background checks

You’ll Stand Out If You:

• Have a teaching credential/certificate
• Have previous experience in special education settings
• Are bilingual and/or have bilingual teaching experience
