Ideal candidates have a teaching credential or 30‑Day Substitute Permit, a background in education, and are comfortable with bilingual settings. This role is non‑exempt and paid hourly, with benefits and ongoing professional development offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, associate's degree, or college credits.
• Three professional references, including at least one from a previous supervisor.
• State & federal background checks.
• Teaching credential/certificate or 30‑Day Substitute Teaching Permit.
• Experience in special education settings is a plus.
• Bilingual abilities are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support students in the classroom, playground, or cafeteria.
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment. Encourage student engagement and participation throughout the day.
• Manage classroom routines, behavior, and transitions, following any lesson plans left by the teacher.
• Communicate clearly with school staff.
• Leave brief notes or feedback for the returning teacher.
