Petroleum Marketing Group in Columbia, SC is seeking a store associate who delivers an exceptional customer experience daily. You will greet customers, ring up purchases, and keep the sales floor clean, organized, and merchandised according to PMG standards.

You should be dependable, able to lift and stand for long periods, and flexible with shifts. The role involves merchandising, daily cleaning, and assisting management with store tasks to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Cash handling experience required.
• Ability to lift, stand, and bend as needed.

Responsabilités

• Greet customers and provide an exceptional experience on an ongoing basis.
• Operate cash register according to PMG standards, including cash handling, record keeping, and shift paperwork.
• Execute daily store tasks with speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Sales floor merchandising and stocking.
• Merchandising of coolers.
• Vendor check-ins and daily issue reporting to Management.
• Ensure PMG safety and operational standards are followed.
• Perform duties with integrity, honesty, and respect.
• Assist Management with other assigned tasks.
• Exterior and interior cleaning.

Description

Candidate meets and exceeds customer expectations on an ongoing basis. To ensure every customer has been provided an exceptional experience, candidate must work with their team members and provide support to Management, to complete all store level tasks related to customer service, merchandising, daily cleaning, cash register duties, and other related tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate cash register, according to PMG standards, surrounding cash handling, record keeping, lottery management, and shift paperwork
• Execute daily store tasks with speed, accuracy, and efficiency
• Sales Floor Merchandising/Stocking
• Cooler Merchandising
• Vendor Check-Ins
• Communication of daily issues/challenges with Management
• Ensure PMG policies and procedures surrounding Safety and Operational Excellence are executed
• Perform work with Integrity, Honesty, and Respect
• Support Management with other assigned tasks
• Exterior/Interior Cleaning

Requirements

Education

• *Preferred* High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or currently enrolled in high school; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
