Job summary

Petroleum Marketing Group is seeking a customer-focused associate to greet customers, handle cash, and maintain a clean, well-stocked store environment. You will help with merchandising, daily tasks, and communication with management to ensure exceptional service.

Required is a High school diploma or GED (preferred) with strong reliability and flexibility. You should be able to lift, stand, and bend as part of daily duties, and have reliable transportation to support shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; experience in customer service is a plus.
• Customer service skills and cash handling experience required or preferred.
• Ability to use a mobile device for communication and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide an exceptional experience on an ongoing basis.
• Operate cash register, handle cash and related duties per store policies.
• Perform daily store tasks with speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Merchandise sales floor and stock cooler areas.
• Assist with vendor check-ins and communicate issues to management.

Candidate meets and exceeds customer expectations on an ongoing basis. To ensure every customer has been provided an exceptional experience, candidate must work with their team members and provide support to Management, to complete all store level tasks related to customer service, merchandising, daily cleaning, cash register duties, and other related tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide an exceptional experience on an ongoing basis
• Operate cash register, according to PMG standards, surrounding cash handling, record keeping, lottery management, and shift paperwork
• Execute daily store tasks with speed, accuracy, and efficiency
• Sales Floor Merchandising/Stocking
• Cooler Merchandising
• Vendor Check-Ins
• Communication of daily issues/challenges with Management
• Ensure PMG policies and procedures surrounding Safety and Operational Excellence are executed
• Perform work with Integrity, Honesty, and Respect
• Support Management with other assigned tasks
• Exterior/Interior Cleaning

Requirements

Education
