Job summary

Petroleum Marketing Group, Inc. is seeking team-oriented associates to provide outstanding customer service at our stores in Columbia, SC. You will greet customers, handle register transactions, and perform daily merchandising, stocking, and cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities include cash handling, vendor check-ins, and assisting management with store operations. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with flexibility to work various shifts and mobility to travel between locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, or currently enrolled in high school; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register and handle cash according to standards, including lottery management and shift paperwork.

• Perform tasks with integrity, honesty and respect; assist Management with other duties.
• Exterior and interior cleaning tasks as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide an exceptional experience on an ongoing basis
• Operate cash register, according to PMG standards, surrounding cash handling, record keeping, lottery management, and shift paperwork
• Execute daily store tasks with speed, accuracy, and efficiency
• Sales Floor Merchandising/Stocking
• Cooler Merchandising
• Vendor Check-Ins
• Communication of daily issues/challenges with Management
• Ensure PMG policies and procedures surrounding Safety and Operational Excellence are executed
• Perform work with Integrity, Honesty, and Respect
• Support Management with other assigned tasks
• Exterior/Interior Cleaning

Education
