Petroleum Marketing Group is looking for a Customer Service / Retail Associate in Kentucky to support daily store operations. You will greet customers, process transactions, merchandise the sales floor and maintain clean, orderly conditions.

Qualities such as reliability and schedule flexibility are essential; you will work with team members and management to ensure an exceptional customer experience across all shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent customer service skills and a friendly, engaging demeanor.
• Experience handling cash and operating a cash register.
• Reliability and ability to commute to the store; access to transportation.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends.
• Comfort with using a mobile device for communication and tasks.
• Physical ability to lift, stand for long periods, and bend as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide an exceptional experience on an ongoing basis.
• Operate cash register and handle cash, lottery, and shift paperwork.
• Execute daily store tasks with speed, accuracy and efficiency.
• Merchandise the sales floor and stock shelves.
• Merchandise coolers and assist with vendor check-ins.

• Maintain store cleanliness and safety standards.
• Support Management with other assigned tasks and duties.

Candidate meets and exceeds customer expectations on an ongoing basis. To ensure every customer has been provided an exceptional experience, candidate must work with their team members and provide support to Management, to complete all store level tasks related to customer service, merchandising, daily cleaning, cash register duties, and other related tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide an exceptional experience on an ongoing basis
• Operate cash register, according to PMG standards, surrounding cash handling, record keeping, lottery management, and shift paperwork
• Execute daily store tasks with speed, accuracy, and efficiency
• Sales Floor Merchandising/Stocking
• Cooler Merchandising
• Vendor Check-Ins
• Communication of daily issues/challenges with Management
• Ensure PMG policies and procedures surrounding Safety and Operational Excellence are executed
• Perform work with Integrity, Honesty, and Respect
• Support Management with other assigned tasks
• Exterior/Interior Cleaning

Requirements

Education

• *Preferred* High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or currently enrolled in high school; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
