Job summary

Tate Americas, a key player within Kingspan Data Solutions, seeks a Design Engineer to drive new product creation, engineering changes, and BOM/labor changes for data center products. You will quote non-standard products, maintain drawings, and support manufacturing with new processes.

The role requires a Mechanical/Engineering STEM degree and 3–8 years in manufacturing, with strong CAD skills (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Revit) and solid communication. Hybrid work in Columbia, MD is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM field required.
• 3–8 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Proficiency with 2D and 3D CAD systems (SolidWorks preferred).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops processes for new families of products with cross‑functional teams.
• Maintains engineering drawings and specifications.
• Creates project submittal documents for approval of design and details.
• Supports manufacturing with new process development.
• Ensures compliance with quality, safety and environmental policies.
