Job summary

Specialty Granules LLC in Missouri is seeking a production supervisor with strong leadership to safely produce quality artificial granules. You will guide a team, manage production schedules, apply Lean Manufacturing principles, and drive continuous improvement across safety, quality, and cost reduction.

The role requires 1-2 years of supervisory experience in mining/manufacturing, a minimum high school diploma (GED) with preferred college degree or trade certification, and knowledge of MSHA

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED; college degree or trade certification preferred.
• 1–2 years supervisory experience in a mining/manufacturing operation.
• Knowledge of mechanical equipment and systems in a mining/manufacturing operation.
• Strong safety orientation and knowledge of MSHA rules.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage assigned production personnel to safely meet/exceed all manufacturing goals.
• Develop and improve assigned production personnel skills for future career opportunities.
• Willingness to embrace change and champion change positively to direct reports.
• Write clearly defined work orders and develop SOPs for department.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings using Lean methodologies.
