Qualifications

• RN with advanced practice nursing degree and Florida APRN license required.
• National advanced certification for nursing specialty board preferred.
• Maintains BLS certification and acute care certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides inpatient management, consultations, and co-management for surgical patients.
• Assists in surgical procedures and closes wounds when necessary.
• Dresses wounds, prescribes medications, and participates in rounds and care planning.
• Collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.
• Maintains documentation and supports quality initiatives.

Education

MN or MSN or DNP or PhD or DNS degree in nursing

Graduate of accredited physician assistant program
