Job summary

Xcel Energy in Colorado is offering a fall internship with the Regulatory Administration team to support policy, cost recovery, and rulemaking work. The role helps develop project management, research, and written communications, with hybrid in-person work and up to 40 hours per week in summer and up to 20 hours during the school year.

Applicants must be current students pursuing a degree in Business or related fields, able to commute to the Denver area, and possess solid writing and MS Office

Qualifications

• Current student, Junior or higher enrolled in a college or university.
• Pursuing a degree in Business, English, Economics, Public Policy, Environmental, etc.
• Able to work full-time during the summer (up to 40 hours/week) and part-time during the school year.

Responsibilities

• Manage or support an assigned case(s).
• Research issues if needed.
• Meet case milestones timely and accurately.
• Report to management on milestones.
• Provide recommendations for leadership if decisions are needed.
• Work cross-functionally with business partners across the organization.
• Create high-level process maps of the case management process and look for improvements.
