Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a PBE Specialist to build relationships with PBE customers, provide color matching expertise, and help select paint products. This role supports both retail and professional customers and aims to achieve profitable sales growth. Bilingual candidates encouraged.

You will maintain the mixing room, manage PBE inventory, and collaborate with Store Manager to meet weekly goals. Prior automotive paint knowledge and strong communication are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Outstanding, friendly, and professional customer service.
• Must multitask, handling customers on the phone and in-store.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with PBE customers (retail & professional).
• Offer color matching expertise and paint product advice.
• Identify OEM paint codes, enter formulas, and mix tint formulas per specs.
• Maintain mixing room, scales, mixers, and paint counter; keep environment clean.
• Manage all PBE inventory; monthly cycle counts; coordinate with Store Manager.
• Promote company customer service programs and related selling.
• Assist PBE customers with labor claims or warranties and train staff.
