Job summary

CosmoProf Beauty in Utah seeks a Color & Curl Concierge/Colour & Curl Specialist to drive color service sales, educate customers, and support salon partners. This role blends in‑store color expertise with merchandising and exceptional service.

The position requires strong communication, time management, and product knowledge, with a preferred licensed cosmetologist. Travel to events may be required; opportunities for growth exist within the brand.

Qualifications

• One year retail or sales-focused experience.
• Licensed cosmetologist highly preferred in US and Canada.
• Reliable transportation to service designated store and market.
• Ability to travel to shows and/or sales meetings a minimum of 3 times a year.
• Strong business acumen and ability to read, interpret, and act on sales reporting.
• Working knowledge of retail sales, inventory control systems and visual merchandising.
• Strong knowledge of POS applications.
• Comprehensive knowledge of computers, iPads, mobile devices and social media platforms.
• Committed to working scheduled hours and flexibility for additional hours.
• May be required to work in other stores and in field at times.
• Strong time management and organization skills; ability to manage multiple projects.
• Ability to present a professional image and interact positively with the public.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must pass Color Certification Test within 60 days of hire to remain in position.

Responsibilities

• Determine customer color and care related needs and offer professional advice to meet client needs.
• Communicate with team regarding calls, visits, orders, and sales progress.
• Resolve customer questions in a timely, effective manner.
• Maintain color and curl merchandising and store presentation per brand guidelines.
• Stay informed on trends and market changes to adapt sales techniques.
• Perform store opening/closing procedures and handle monetary transactions as needed.
