Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company in Pittsburgh, PA seeks a Branch Specialist Color Blender to prepare orders, blend batches, adjust shades, and maintain quality standards. You will also handle inventory, operate tinting equipment, and provide excellent customer service in a retail environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with warehouse duties, processing POS transactions, and ensuring safety and loss prevention policies are followed. Experience in delivery or retail is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams employee: must have a 'meets expectations' rating.
• Internal to Sherwin-Williams: must complete HR Cloud eLearning courses.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customer orders, including blending initial batch and shade adjustments.
• Make shade and gloss adjustments to meet requirements.
• Prepare spray-out and draw-down test panels.
• Expense mistints daily.
• Establish and maintain accurate customer work order files and formulas.
• Ensure customers' quality and service expectations are met.
• Operate tinting, mixing and testing equipment in a safe manner.
• Properly store all partial containers to correct inventory location.
• Provide input regarding inventory levels in the warehouse/stockroom.
• Assist with general warehouse, delivery and customer service duties as needed.
